“How To Guide” for IPerf & JPerf

In lieu of a podcast this week. I’ve included the following short white paper written by Jared Griffith and Keith Parsons as an “How To Guide” to using IPerf and Jperf network performance tools.  Feel free to download this PDF document and share it with your friends and collegues.

For those of you with AirMagnet WiFi Analyzer and/or AirMagnet SurveyPro software – you can also use the IPerf service within those tools. Doing an IPerf site survey is a great way to PROVE throughput over your Wireless LAN.

    There is also an Android iPerf avaliable for free in Android market.

    I would say though that while iPerf is available on all of the platforms in performs best and most accurately when ran on Linux (I have compared it with both Zap and IXIA tests).
